CBM is one of the leading international development agencies for people with disabilities. CBM aims to provide medical care, education and rehabilitation to as many blind, low vision, deaf and physically disabled people as possible. CBM assists the world's poorest people with disabilities and those at risk of disability, regardless of their nationality, sex, or religion.
Our focus is on the prevention and treatment of diseases wherever possible and education and rehabilitation so that people with disability can be included into their society as equals and lead a largely independent life.
CBM always works in partnership with national and local organisations. Today CBM supports more than 1000 model projects in 113 countries, helping over 12 million people annually.
